I’m super impressed with the Model 3116 Lava Lamp. I like how relaxing it is to watch the liquid & glitter moving in motion. This lava lamp is bright and works great for reading, crocheting, working or blogging.

Now about how the lava lamp works, you have two ways to use the lava lamp you can use the bright white light or you can use the lava lamp as a cool night light.

The lava lamp comes with silver base & cap, liquid teal with silver glitter. There is a 4 position switch so you can have a table lamp on, both lamps on, both lamps off. Simple as that to use this beauty.

The type of bulb this lava lamp base requires is a 40 watt light bulb (Is Included) with the lamp. The table lamp requires a 60 watt light bulb (Not Included). The lava lamp has an aluminum base. To power the lava lamp it plugs into a power outlet. The lava lamp includes saddle to accommodate shades with harp and finial.

The lava lamp base measurements are 19″ tall 7.1″ wide 52oz Lava globe. It’s recommended that an Angled Shade 10″ with this lava lamp the shade it’s sold separately.

Now we have an Angled drum lamp shade model 3114 to go on the lava lamp. The material on the shade is white cotton blend fabric. The shade has a white finish spider fitter. The height of the shade is 10″ tall, 13″ across the bottom with 4″ drop.
