This advanced laundry system combines a regular front-load washer (4.5 cubic feet) with a second, smaller washer built into the pedestal. This unique system has been deemed, as the “Sidekick”! LG’s Twin wash was designed to “ease” the “pain” of doing laundry! While the washer is very efficient, it also allows you to run simultaneous cycles! You’re able to stash the large, bulky load of laundry into the top part, and the smaller load of laundry below. AND- get this-since they are technically both standalone units, they have separate water hookups, so the water that’s cleaning your bright red or blue towels in the top part will not mix with the water that’s cleaning your bright, white items in the bottom part! Let’s not forget the other advanced features this system offers! This set has advanced cycles and settings that include the following: Steam, Smart Grid, Remote Start, Fresh Care, Delay Wash, Wi-Fi Connect, Custom PGM (store a custom wash cycle), PGM Save, Turbo Wash, Cold Wash, Extra Rinse, Drum Light, Pre-wash and Child Lock! That is all pretty amazing. I figured it would take two water hookups if you utilize both parts at the ssame time. It would save some hassles .I like the way this sounds, very futuristic,but for those without smartphones, will it still work?
I agree they are pretty amazing. I’m sure they will work without the smartphones.
